What we collect
- Account info you give us: email, name, postal code, optional kid profiles (name, birth year, interests).
- Usage data: which activities you view, save, or get directions to. Used to personalise recommendations and improve the app.
- Device info: a push notification token (if you opt in) and basic device identifiers.
- Payment info is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
How we use it
- To show you relevant activities based on your location and your kids' ages and interests.
- To send notifications you've opted into (event reminders, plan reminders, etc).
- To improve the app — anonymised usage stats only.
- To respond when you contact support.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't share your kids' profiles or interests with third parties.
- We don't run third-party ad trackers in the app.
Your rights
You can export or delete your account data at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. Deletion is permanent after a 7-day cooldown. You can also opt out of any notification type from Profile → Notifications.
Service providers
We use the following third parties to run Kidzhood: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google Maps + Places (geocoding + venue data), Expo Push (notifications), and Render (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy.
